Job Description:

• Responsible to schedule and oversee the manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products according to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) for generic and branded products;
• Manage raw material and component purchasing for production;
• Oversee facility maintenance and shipping and receiving;
• Prepare department budget including capital requirements;
• Identify personnel needs and motivate subordinates;
• Train and develop junior staff members in a growing company;
• Interface and consult with Formulations, Analytical and Quality Assurance Groups;
• Write and review Master Batch Records, Standard Operating Procedures and validation protocols;
• Provide strong technical leadership;
• Work in a small company environment with high rate of growth.
